Description

Wood Rot Dual Post Protective Sleeve

Ground-line rot, decay, fungi, and moisture are the number one contributor to wood post failures and are found within the first 6˝ to 8” of earth surrounding in-ground posts. Postsaver fence post protector sleeves provide a locked-in air & moisture barrier and rot block protection for new wooden posts before installation. All Postsaver sleeves are 14" long.

A Postsaver® post guard is a heat-shrinkable sleeve with a thermoplastic bituminous interior liner, otherwise known as a dual wood post protective sleeve. Effectively it creates a water and air-tight seal when applied to new posts at the vulnerable ground-line level, making ground-line decay impossible. Unlike liquid coatings, a Postsaver® wood post protective sleeve maintains its impenetrable post guard barrier, even as the wood post ages, cracks, or splits. The Postsaver® post guard sleeve’s design comprises a dual layer of protection; a non-toxic plastic outer layer and an interior bituminous layer. Each layer offers a superior level of protection for the life of the post.

What a Post Saver! Fence Post Protector Sleeves Are Air and Water-tight.

Postsaver® fence post protector sleeves are a perfect fit for in-ground post protection from moisture, rot, fungi, and insect infestation. Guard all new wood fence or deck posts with an air and water-tight 6x6 post wrap protection sleeve that acts as a rot block. Available in multiple sizes, each post saver provides a custom fit as porch post wraps, fence post protector sleeves, and cedar deck post sleeves. Square, round, or rectangular shapes, and even extra-large, or extra small posts, Postsaver® offers individual, or a 10-pack wood post protective sleeve, with a 5-Yard Roll option to meet specific rot block project needs.

Postsaver® post guard sleeves come as singles and in packs of 10. The sizes of the wood post protective sleeve range from 3.50˝ x 3.50˝ to 8.00˝ x 8.00˝. Additionally, a Post Saver 5-Yard Roll, equaling a 195˝ length of moisture barrier and rot block protection, accommodates multiple post sizes, smaller, and larger. That’s approximately 10 - 12 protected posts per roll if each post is between 3.50˝ x 3.50˝ or 4˝x 4˝.
