Victory Junction: Where It All Comes Together
Victory Junction is one of those fantastic places. It is wonderful to visit Victory Junction and an honor for Fence Armor® to be involved with the camp. NAFCA, along with Fence Armor®, are proud supporters of this excellent organization. We are doubly honored to be a part of this years’ Victory Junction Fence Building Service Project.
At Fence Armor® we want everyone to know more about Victory Junction. We know from our partnership exactly what they can do and provide. For those of you unfamiliar with Victory Junction, how about a bit of catch-up?
When you become familiar with the camp, you too will understand why we love working with Victory Junction.
What is Victory Junction?
Victory Junction is a very special camp spread over 84 acres in Randleman, North Carolina. They provide year-round camp experiences for children with serious or chronic medical conditions at no cost to the families.
For the families and for the children, Victory Junction is a blessing. The kids get the fun and adventure of camp with the best of care. The families have the peace of mind of a caring and trained staff while seeing their kids so happy.
A thank-you to the Petty family
This camp was created in 2004 in honor of Kyle and Pattie Petty’s son Adam. Adam was a race car driver and had a great love and compassion for children. He had a dream to create a camp for children battling disease or disability.
When Adam tragically died in a driving accident, his family saw the opportunity to honor his memory. The Petty Family, along with close friends, built Victory Junction as a camp for those kids who need the most help.
Fence Armor® can only give a huge thank you to the Petty Family for creating such a wonderful place for kids.
What you need to know about Victory Junction
No doubt everyone with an interest wants to know more about Victory Junction. If you have visited in the past, you will know what a great place it is for kids. For those of you who are thinking of going, then read on for more information.
The need-to-knows for the camp are:
- It is suitable for children ages six to sixteen
- The program provides week-long sessions that are illness or disability-specific
- Activities offered include the Creative Zone, Water Park, and Adventure play
- Victory Junction also offers weekend sessions in the fall or spring
Kids can also get to try on race suits and sit in fast cars at the Adam’s Race Shop. Tasty, healthy snacks are available at Pit Stop, where kids can relax from the activities for a while. Full meals come at the Fuel Stop. Kids here get to choose from diet-appropriate menus which cover all food restrictions. At Victory Junction, kids experience all the fun and can relax in style at the end of the day.

Fence Armor® and Victory Junction
We could not be happier to work on this project alongside the North American Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA). Our team got to build new fences in the Equestrian Area and saw our work add to the camp’s range of activities. We also saw what Victory Junction does firsthand and what wonderful people work at the camp.

It was our absolute pleasure to offer our resources and time to this worthy charity.
