Our decorative finials are cast from zinc, with aluminum used for the Acorn Flag style, and powder-coated for the classic appearance of wrought iron. These nonferrous metals won’t develop the iron rust associated with traditional iron finials.

Upgrade your existing post caps
Each finial includes a ¼″-20 threaded mounting stud and matching nut. Install on an existing wood, vinyl, composite, aluminum, or metal post cap with a suitable mounting surface and access underneath: drill a ¼″ mounting hole, insert the stud, and secure it with the supplied nut. Tighten securely without overtightening.
Already have Cap Claw® Universal Fit Post Caps? Simply remove the center screw and thread a compatible finial into the existing connection.
