WHAT IS POSTSAVER?
Postsaver is a heat shrinkable, thermoplastic sleeve lined with a bituminous sealant that creates long-lasting air and water tight protection from conventional ground rot.
WHY WE NEED POSTSAVER
Posts rot at the ground line because conditions for decay are ideal at this point. Nature’s own natural waste disposal system for wood and leaves also happens to like eating your posts. Adding Postsaver at the ground level section of the post prevents this problem.
EVEN MORE DEFENCE FOR YOUR FENCE
All rot and decay takes place in the upper 6 ̋ portion of the post at the ground line. Postsaver sleeves protect all the way down to where ground temps get colder, and very little oxygen and decaying organisms are able to survive. Thereby preventing fungi, moisture and oxygen from decaying your posts.
