All righty so we're talking about Fence Armor Finials. We're so excited about it um we're making post caps and finials right now. Our post caps are designed to work from lumber that's 3 3/8" all the way up to 4 3/16" or so. So when you buy a 4x4 most of you realize that you're not really getting a 4x4 most of the time usually 3.5" sometimes 3 5/8" sometimes 3 7/8" it's all over the place. So our caps are really cool and adjustable and also we have finials that can go on our caps and i'll explain that more in detail but if you've got other caps already like I have here. I've got this this cap pre-existing and it doesn't have a hole on the top you can see here it's pointy so our finials require a quarter inch hole so they're quarter twenty uh threaded the stand is quarter twenty and they come with a quarter twenty nut so if we put a hole on an existing cap so you don't have to buy our caps right off the bat um or we don't have that size, you can use a pre-existing cap and drill a hole. In this case I've got a quarter inch drill and that'll give us enough clearance so what I've done here for a setup you'll see I've got here a couple of 2x4’s and a sacrificial board here on the bottom some old fence board I've got here and if we flip it upside down so now we need to put on our finial I'll just go and grab that. This is Hops and there's our 1/4" - 20 stem and it comes with the the nut so you put it in here and now you can just flip it over and use your nut to put it on. Now one of the things here is don't over tighten it, it's really important because remember this is a hundred percent zinc and yes it is American zinc but still a very soft metal and if you over tighten it then you could strip it um or even snap it so just be careful when you're working in there now you can align it the way you want maybe uh I don't know whichever way and you'll figure out when you get out there how you want it aligned but uh yeah there you now have a cap with a finial.

All right I got that off and uh I'm gonna go ahead and open up the seal here and bring out our new fancy post cap so there it is there's your CAP CLAW™ that just pulls off the bottom. I'm going to be careful because these are sharp I mean really sharp not enough to shave but certainly enough to cut yourself. So um you want to make sure that that's off of there and then basically what you're looking for is uh well I'll put it this way maybe, that doesn't matter it doesn't really matter. Get it so that's about in the center and then push it down and now that's on there nice and tight and you've got a beautiful looking post cap but we're gonna make it even better. On the top you'll notice we've got um a screw that's a machine screw and an extra if you have a dime or a nickel in your pocket it's really easy to unfasten and the idea behind that is you can just unscrew that cap that screw on the top of the cap and then you can use one of our Finials. So we've got six different finials today I'm going to put on the the Texas Star and these are all zinc, 100% American zinc they're really uh solid and you can you can feel the weight of course you can't see the weight but they're there. You'll notice there's a nut on the bottom before you can get rid of the nut that is there for you in case you have a pre-existing post cap and you wanted to drill it out with a quarter inch drill then you could use the nut obviously to fasten it onto the bottom so it's a quarter twenty here we'll put on the Texas Star and because it's already threaded that's why you don't need the nut so just turn it on and uh yeah get it in there nice. Put it in the direction you want to have it and now we've got a Texas Star on the top and of course you can you can pick any of the other Finials put it in whatever orientation you like. Here you'll see I've got, I don't have all six here but there's what we call Hops and there's a Fleur-de-Lis and a Ball Top Quad and we've got a Trident and a an Acorn and the Acorn is a special one I'll have to share with you a little later but that's how how quick it is to put in a cap and a finial.

Hey guys Andy Solk again from The One Stop Fence Shop here at Maple Ridge. Regular occurrence that happens on top of a post when we install cedar once we screw in a nail, cracking appears once cracking appears it gets bigger and bigger therefore falls off leaving the top of the post fully exposed. Having shopped around and struggling to find post caps with your fence that got installed out here on the West Coast because the posts are 4 1/8" by 4 1/8", well we've got the product here. The guys over at Fence Armor custom engineered these to fit on both sizes 3.5x3.x5 inch posts all the way up to the four and then eighth by four and eighth that we mainly have out here the system is great no screws the CAP CLAW™ you just bend the tips in slightly and push fit for a tight seal giving it a 100% protection from all the winter weathering that we have out here. Look at this no screws, great product. Check us out online for more information.

These are metal post caps and they're made by Fence Armor. These are made in America which I really like and they fit on any size fence post so they're really cool, they're powder coated, they’re made of steel and zinc and the zinc actually comes from right here in Tennessee just a few miles up the road from us and they're a great post cap because a couple reasons. One you can put any type of finial on the top that you want and they've got a whole offering of Finials that you can use or you can go with a standard flat cap and they have the patented CAP CLAW™ in here and what that allows it to do is it allows this post cap to work on any size fence post uh from a 3 1/2" all the way up to 4 1/8" and those in the Pacific Northwest, they get a lot of the 4 1/8" posts and they're really hard to find a cap for. These will work and so the cool thing is they're so easy to put on you don't have to screw them on or nail them on you just simply take them out of the package and you put them on the post and there it is they're on there.

Creating an idea and giving it life is what we do here at Fence Armor. Providing solutions for real world problems and we are very excited about bringing you our latest creations, the Fence Armor CAP CLAW™ Post Caps and Decorative Finials. Designing and testing and manufacturing are what we're known for, whether it's the steel we use from Pittsburgh to make our screws whether it's the zinc that we use for our finials that come from Tennessee, then there's the galvanized steel that comes from Hamilton from US steel. Whether it's the design and engineering we use in our own teams and we build the molds locally, we take pride and it's in our core, our core as people our core as a family and our core as a company that we want to bring our business locally not having to make things offshore also makes us that much more nimble. So we're truly a North American product and we look forward to bringing it to you.

What's up guys Shawn King with Mr. Fence Academy and Mr. Fence Tools, I've got some cool stuff I want to show you here right now. We are in Canada with White Castle Construction and Fence Armor on site on a construction site they just built this fence and I get the privilege of finishing it off right now with the Fence Armor Post Cap with the patented CAP CLAW™ on the back side. What does that mean I'm gonna show you here in a minute but this is a very fancy strong cap to protect the top of that post before I go any further though I want you to understand we used Postsaver on every single post in the ground these were installed prior to us setting in the post this is going to prevent that post from deteriorating prematurely to extend the life of the post by installing this prior to setting the post we've also added to the bottom that black piece down there that is the Fence Armor protection plate that right there is going to prevent your weed eater and enemies like that from tearing up your Postsaver and tearing up your post by installing this Fence Armor plate at the bottom. Key thing to note for those guys installing those, leave them about an inch off the ground so that we are hitting the weed eater right in the middle of the armor plates right so that's installed there if you install the Fence Armor Postsaver and the post armor fence cap with the CAP CLAW™ you get a 20 year warranty from Fence Armor that's called the Signature Series Fence. As a contractor and as a Fence Specialist, are you offering that to your clientele you're going to differentiate from the competition you'll be different and you're going to give your customer a better value product because you're going to give them a warranty to protect against the rotting deterioration that is going to happen in this wood. Anyways we're going to delay that process right by protecting the water from getting to the top of the post utilizing the cap and the Postsaver preventing the oxygen deterioration the bacteria from hitting at the bottom of the post deteriorating that and then the weed eater damage so three of those together are going to extend the life of the fence. Now that's all great cool fancy and awesome but there's more right so this cap has a great feature that on the top you can pull this screw out and there are multiple versions of these toppers that can go in here and thread in the top of this, different designs they even have one that's an acorn design you can put a flag in it yeah you can put a flag in the top of it. It's a screw in the top of that so it's a great add-on these add-ons are huge for you as a fence business because you're able to add more value to the customer and generate more revenue for your business capturing more margins obviously so it's a great add-on piece. Now the best part about these caps is this works from 5 1/2" to 6 3/16" post. It's gonna be five and a half to five and three quarters, five and seven eighths, six inch, six and an eighth doesn't matter this cap can accommodate that with a patented CAP CLAW™. On the back side we can just push that right on there and it's not going to come knock off these are very very sharp points on the stainless steel band right here they're very sharp it'll self-center itself on the cap as you push down into one direction just make sure the opposite direction you physically have centered that before you push it down once you get down on top of there if the post is cut crooked you can make small adjustments and this will be nice and flat to make up for those errors of installation, you know cutting the top of these post tops today. Believe it or not we didn’t have to cut any posts the guys did a fantastic job of setting to the right height so no need to cut them off so let's see how hard it is to install this. I have no screws no screw gun on top of that post I'd like to have the Fence Armor plate facing this way or this way preferably is how we like to scientifically engineer that to be installed. Here we go we'll go this way today so we go up on there, center it on there whoa are you kidding me it was just that easy! Give me some more let's make it happen that is amazing this this product is phenomenal it's totally different than anything else in the industry right now. That is out there solid, that's not going to come off the wind is not going to blow that off I don't have to put no screws in to split the top of the post. There's no glue there's no silicone there's no caulking come on that's awesome right. Signature Series from Fence Armor if you don't know about it you better figure it out real quick because you're going to be left behind.
